BUTTERWORTH PARK

Public BBQ

Butterworth Park offers a classic suburban barbecue experience that understands what Australian families actually want from a weekend outing. The BBQ area sits among well-placed picnic tables, creating that perfect setup where parents can flip snags while keeping one eye on the playground action. The real bonus here is the adjacent basketball court - a stroke of genius that keeps older kids engaged long after they've outgrown the swings. It's one of those parks that gets the balance right: decent facilities without unnecessary bells and whistles, positioned in Koondoola where parking isn't a blood sport and the amenities actually work when you need them.
